| − | The new Google Chromebook and Apple MacBook are the very first laptops to support the new USB Type-C standard. The USB-C is a tiny connector that will turn out to be the new industry standard for all personal computer companies and cell phone makers. The reason why the USB-c is so popular is due to the fact the high speed information transfer rate of up to 10Gbps eclipses the old typical USB. Apple launched the USB-c standard but now there are numerous suppliers of the USB variety-c adapters which can be located on-line and on Amazon. Further, as the new market norm, the USB-c connector is not subjected to Apple certification needs which permits numerous producers the capability to provide high quality adapters without having the high Apple brand price..
